MDA Locum - Florida Lawnwood Hospital

ANESTHESIA NEEDS:  Call shifts are 5p-7a weekdays, and 24 hours on weekends. Providers typically cover inhouse call every other night. A second MD will provide backup call coverage from home.

Daily Patient Volume: Weekday Avg. 50 cases/day; Weekend Avg. 13
Types of Cases: Level 2 Trauma Center. Level 3 NICU. OB with High risk. Comprehensive Stroke Center. Cardiac center with interventional cath lab, Cardiothoracic Surgery, EP lab, and vascular surgery. Neurosurgery, including spine and cranial procedures. Orthopedic Surgery.
Moderate to High Acuity cases, busy volume.
Support Staff: Techs, Nursing, Mid-Level, CRNA, Anesthesia Techs
Candidate Parameters
Specific fellowships/certifications/procedures/competencies we are looking for? General, Cardiac, Peds, Trauma, OB. Central Line, Arterial line, Peripheral Nerve Block, Spinals, Epidurals

QUALIFICATIONS:
No peds fellow ship required.

BE or BC
MSO will offer temp and emergency privileges.
Orientation done on first day or prior: Day 1 On-Site/Paired with another Mid-Level/Phys. Expectation is Day 2 to run room solo.

CONTRACT TERM:
3 month with extension option
